With help from many of you I have figured out how to ADD an appointment to
our Public Folders via VBA, but I can not figure out how to use VBA to DELETE
an appointment once added...Any Thoughts?

Ok guys and gals, I'm at a loss here.
At my office we have a SQL server handling most of the databases.
Almost everyone uses an MS access 2007 front end. Normally we don't
have to many issues with this setup it seems to work fairly well.

I'm not sure where to post this question, so I am going with the General
board.  What follows is based on my quite possible flawed understanding of
how things work.  Please assume that my statements are qualified as
appropriate with the unwritten caveat "as I understand" or the like ...

Strange issue with lock files. Database is split front end with
