The date format mmddyyyy is common but I realize it's not a standard format in Access. There must be a simple way to provide this format to Access so it treats it as a date? In past, I play with it and do a (Left MM, Mid, and Right Function) and add "/" so it's recognized.

I tried to seperate my query update im order to define what is the limitation for the field becaouse i know that it is limiting for 1024 characters but i see that can update more characters(for now checked 2000 and it works too)

I have a form where on current, it evaluates some fields to determine which page on a tab control should be displayed and which should be hidden. If I cycle through the records using the navigation buttons, the focus will remain on the "ID" field if the tab control remains on
