In a textbox containing a string of ID numbers each separated by a comma, how can I keep only the first value, and then remove all of the other numbers and commas behind it? The first value may contain 1 or 2 or more characters.

I know that it is possible to force Access 2007 to the display custom menu bars for an Access database developed in an earlier version by using the customisation settings in A2007 to nominate a custom menu bar to display on startup.

i run office 2003 work with access 2003. i split the address in 2. number and address ie number "213".address "ross str".and some of the numbers have are alphanumeric ie "213A".question in design data type i cannot put numbers

I have been working on a database that i have set up to run on all the office machines with 2002 runtime. If I upgrade my office to 2003, and do work on the database, can I save it in 2002 format, make and mde, and still have it run on the 2002 runtime? Or

I have a large historical database of US Railway equipment written in Access 97. I have kept it as 97 because I have the Access Developers Kit that allows me to distribute the database as an executable and it can then be used on a PC without MS Access.

My application is generating a "The OpenForm action was cancelled" error and I can't seem to figure out why. The best part about it is that it's only one user in the entire building - it works perfectly fine for the rest of us. So troubleshooting is extremely difficult.
