I have a table that stores user id and what date they where checked in
last.

select from a table the highest revision number01 Feb 2006 00:46 GMT4
I have a table of items, with revision numbers.  I need to extract the
items with highest revision number.  The items may be listed several
times and I don't know what the highest revision number for each item
is.  How do I do this?

In access97 and in accessXP when trying to output records(from a table,
it has 32,000 records in it) to a spreadsheet thru OfficeLinks -
Analyze with Excel  I get the following message
'There are too many rows to output, based on the limitation specified
