I have a problem canceling a check box update when placing a check in
it. Checkbox is not bound.
Here is what happens.
User clicks a check box. In the BeforeUpdate method of the control, if

I need to lock a record after a user clicks on a button on my form.
Does anyone have any idea how to do this. I tried to create a command
button on my form which uses a vb procedure but cannot figure out how

fine. How can I set the save location and save as file by default and

I have two OLEbound controls on a Tabbed subform. The properties list does
not allow "can shrink" Is there any way to tell this monster that I don't
want to have a great big blank space if in fact there is no data in the OLE
