I want to hook up a roll printer to access 2002 to create receipts for
certain transactions in the database.  Does anyone know if this is possible.
If so, is it hard to get the printer to work.   I know those printers don't
print graphics and I will have to stay with printing text ...

I'm confused about the security feature in Access.  When I look at the
security it says the owner of my database is  'Admin'.  My database is read
by a Visual Basic program.  When I install the program-plus-database on
another computer, I can read the data but I can't write to it.  ...

We have about 20 users in our Access databases. Sometime databases
corrupts and are not available. I have to correct them. It is not
nice, because you have to ask every user to close database, because
other wise correcting is not possible.

Could you guys please share with me what problems have you faced if
any? At work we store all our tables in SQL and use Access as the
front end. The access file has many queries (including pass through

I inherited an Access application from a previous coworker. It seems
the Spell Check is never enabled unless I open the application by
holding down the shift key and double clicking the application icon at

I have a field on FORM!FORMDATA (no, I did not name this) called KEY.
There can be multiple KEYS per record (equates to FIELDS on a given
DOCUMENT).

Front-end goes on PC. Back-end on server in F:\myapp, which is also the
place where system.mdw file is located.
