I'm converting a db from Acc97 to 2000. Everything works, except assigning
of a qdf object containing parameters, to a recordset.
The db, recordset, and qrydef objects are all referenced as DAO objects, and
the reference to dao 3.6 is present and working.

Sometimes it happens that an application that worked well before
starts to complain.
All kind of simple commands seem suddenly to be ununderstandable.
I then check the list of 'references', if I see something unusual.

Whenever I first try to enter data into my form, it prompts me with
this following error: "The field is too small to accept the amount of
data you attempted to add.  Try inserting or pasting less data."  But
it will still let me enter my data, but it always comes up for every
