Is anyone using (or have you used) Access 97 under Win XP 64-bit OS? If so, are there any issues, particularly in a multi user environment where some users will be upgraded to XP 64-bit, while most stay with XP 32-bit?

I have a current validation rule for a TEXT data type that is: Is Null Or Like "??????" (so the user must enter 6 characters, which will always be mixed between numerals and alpha characters). How can I change this to have all of the alpha characters automatically

My query BAXSaver Canada has 4224 line of data. I'm trying to creat another query change changes my 4 to 3, but I'm getting back fewer lines (3734). Why? IIf([BAXSaver Canada]![Field3]=4,3,[BAXSaver Canada]![Field3])

Any idea how to search in an access table for fields that contain the # or the * charactrs ? It defaults to giving me all numbers if i search for # and fields with any text if i put the *.

Our company will be upgrading from 2003 to 2007 in the fall. We have a dozen or so databases in wide use, some in 2000 format/some in 2003 format. Reading other posts it appears there is pretty good backward/forward compatibility, but we'd really like to test that before D-Day. ...
