I'm fairly new to Access, so maybe there's a better way to do what I'm trying to do, but here it is... I'm an engineer and I'm making a database to store results and setup info for tests peformed.

I have a combo on which users select the "Lost reason" for our quotes on the (rare, of course) occasion that we lose one. This looks at a table of 12 Lost Reasons which contains IDs and reasons, such as 3 and Price, and saves this in a Lost Reason field in our Quotes

I have a 'switchboard' type form with a subform. There are 5 lists of options grouped by functionality which when one is clicked change the sourceobject of the subform. There are about 80 different choices and this method enables me to navigate quickly between all of the options ...

I could not package an accde file with the runtime and deploy it effectively. Problem - I was running Access 2007 SP1, and the Access2007Runtime. The Access2007Runtime SP1 has just recently been released. That works. Just in case anyone else was getting irritated...

i have a query which shows customer names and address details. The query also shows a balance for the customers. The balance in the query was created from related tables with different fields, So the balance field is a calculated field. an expression.

I am doing a simple database for payroll and no matter how I try and format the numbers, it automatically rounds up. Example, I enter in 3.5...it rounds up to 4. All regardless of General Number, or fixed etc. Help!!
