This may be a crazy question, but here it goes...
I am running Office 2003.  When I open a database I have the database window
open and then there is the dark gray/charcoal colored background in the
access program.  Is there a way to change this background to a

I've seen a number of posts discussing the coding a query from a
single table to generate row numbers.  However, my situation is that I
have a join query with two tables joined by their common ID.  I can't
seem to get it to work.  Has anyone done this before?
