the table is very simple, just 10 fields with 300K records. However, i find it extremely slow to search at Form recently. when i search records with "ABC*", the 1st record show up after 90 seconds if i search in query, all the records show up within 5 seconds

When i firs installed vista (about 3 days ago) everything worked fine i rebooted after updating and the edge of the windows were not transparent and alt-tab did not show the live preview (instead it showed only the old alt-tab) and the "switch between windows" does not work it ...
