I have a lot of queries that use a linked table. The need for this table to
be linked is not necessary anymore.  Is there a way to break the link without
deleting the table?

I have recently set up a database which has a number of users. To prevent any
inadvertantly deleting tables etc, I want to limit the users to using /
viewing only the forms which navigates then to the relevant section of the

I am trying to import an Excel spreadsheet. The headers in the spreadsheet
match the same thing that is in my Access table, name and order. Everytime I
try to import, it gives me an error message. Is there something I am doing

I am running MS Access 2007 on Windows XP Professional 2002 (SP2).
I need to change the data type of a single field in a table containing just
over 1.4M records in order to link it with another table and run a Make-Table
Query, but Access is telling me I do not have enough memory ...

Today queries in one of my databases cannot be opened in design view but they
are opening with my forms.  First time I've had this.  Now working in 2003
but db were written in 2000.
