I have a DB built in access XP. Now, I have installed Office 2007 in my
computer and my DB doesn't work properly. When I click any button, nothing

I run a report that was setup before me.  I push a button and a module runs
the report, fills in an email (to, body, signature) and then sends it out.  
The problem is when I run the report on 12 of the 100 or so emails are sent
out.  The only error I receive is   "This expression ...

I have an unbound combo box on a form in which I would like to show a
default value which I want to be the first client name alphabetically in the
field ClientName in the table tblClients. This is also the Row Source for the
combo box

When I do DDL style queries on my Access DB via VB, eg alter table, add col,
etc, Access won't let me compact/reapir the DB!!
It says it can't recognise the DB, but everything appears to work OK.
Do you know why this is and is there a fix?

originally created for a quick method of accomplishing data entry, storage,
and reporting. Now the original developer of that group is not longer with

I have a form and I have a query that read a value from a field in that form.
There's a strange thing. The query instead of reading that value of 52 is
reading a 4.
Then I made another test and I put the query reading another field. In that

Hello, I am developing an application that uses a Microsoft Access 2007
Database.  I was wondering if it is necessary to have my application compact
or run maintenance on the Access 2007 Database, and if so how often, or how I
would know if maintenance was necessary...

Have used Office 97 programs to perform my small business records. All of my

way to run the application whithout being connected to the linked
database i.e. when I will run the Access application I will not be
connected to our company network so access will give me an error.
