I'm trying to create a command button that by default will lock records in
the form, and will only allow edits after it is clicked, to avoid unnecessary
mistakes. In other words all records are locked until the user clicks command
button to edit.

I have an application running on all access versions till now.
However, this application has troubles running on access 2007 french,
Windows Vista familial Premium french.

I have a small home network with a simple shared database that 3 pcs can
access.  We all have admin rights.  Suddenly today if pc 1 & 2 are using the
