Is there a way to use conditional formatting (or some other way) to have a
cell "flash" if a certain condition is met.  I know it is easy to change the
text color or background, but I really want to draw attention to this cell ...

I have a query setup and I would like to include criteria for a field to
narrow my results.  The problem is that the record contains an asterisk as
part of the value.  Since asterisks are used as wildcards how can I search

I work in a Tourism Office and need to find a way to best record statistics.
For example, when someone calls I need to record whether it was a local
call, long distance, where they found our phone number, etc.

I'm needing to import text files that have fixed field widths.  Is there a
way to make access remember the field widths without using VB?  I'm still
pretty new to access and I'm teaching myself so I need the easiest way
