Okay. This DB will be the death of me!!! I am attempting to manage equipment maintenance in a military unit. I have 5 guys who enter data, and I need a LOT of reports. The one I'm working on right now has been built fairly well...I thought!

i have a database of about 5000 records. how do i take out the old ones and store them so they are retreivable, but not in the same database as currently being used, as it is slowing the database down.
