ActiveX Control could not be added26 Sep 2007 14:50 GMT5
I tried to register an Active X control, and received this message:
"c:\jts\activex\twx.ocx could not be added/deleted. Install/remove the
control using a separate setup utility."
Is there another setup utility I can use to add the control??

username into a table of the last person who was in a particular access table?
Change path linking front and back ends?26 Sep 2007 14:15 GMT2
I have copied a split database from one PC to another.
The folder structure is somewhat different on the new machine and therefore
the path is wrong for the front and back ends to see each other.
What is the easiest way to modify the path to reflect the new location?
corruption of mdb files on network drives using Access 2003 under Vista26 Sep 2007 14:07 GMT1
I have been having a rather aggravating problem with databases
becoming corrupt after opening them on a Vista machine. I have finally
found a common theme to the problem, and a work around, and am
wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

<= changes to <?26 Sep 2007 13:50 GMT3
I have an Access application in which I invoke a report or a form with a
where clause.  In all cases the where clause is of the form:
ServiceDate >= #01/01/2007# And ServiceDate <= #09/25/2007#
This runs just fine.  I transmitted the MDB file to a client using FTP.
multi-user question26 Sep 2007 13:39 GMT7
I have a split database with users that log queries into the same table. For
the primary key I have a "dmax" code to add 1 to the highest number.
If two people add queries, one of them may not be accepted because of a
duplicate ID number.
Table Validation rule26 Sep 2007 12:21 GMT2
Hi I am somewhat new to access. In my table I would like to set up a
validation RULE for one of the dates fields in my table. I want to know what
code I need to write to tell access that my OrderEntryClose field must be
greater than the order received date field.
How do I collect data via email for a specific record in a table, using Access 2007?26 Sep 2007 11:44 GMT10
I am having difficulty in using the 'Collect and Update Data via

I have developed a database for logging and monitoring IT Support
Issues and would like to be able to do the following task using the
Error 'Error evaluating CHECK constraint.' in the validation rule.26 Sep 2007 11:37 GMT4
I have looked in all the tables and cannot find the reason.

Have you made a good database template or model that I could use? Or perhaps
advise me how to go about the project!
Referential Integrity in CREATE TABLE command26 Sep 2007 11:01 GMT6
The MS ACCESS online guide states that ON UPDATE CASCADE  or ON UPDATE SET
NULL (as well as  ON DELETE CASCADE or ON DELETE SET NULL) options can be
used with Referential Integrity constraints in the CREATE TABLE command.  But
every time I try to execute the CREATE TABLE command ...
