I'm inporting data that has the person's full name in one field. i.e.
"GLORIA DE LOS SANTOS".
But they have given me a last name in a separate field, and it's listed as
"LOS SANTOS".

I am trying to establish an ODBC connection from Access to a remote SQL
Server database. The database resides on a company-wide network, the actual
server itself is I think in a dark room in Texas. I've mapped to the drive
where the target SQL Server database resides.

I am attempting to run an access database via a bat file using TWS (Tivoli
Workload Scheduler) on a windows 2003 server.  In the bat file I have
"d:\microsoft office 2000\office\MSACCESS.EXE"
d:\vis_db\unixmgmt_2000\unixmgmt.mdb

The form displays the last time we spoke with client.
However, I also need an empty box for both a date and comments that will go
into my call log table and be empty every time I open the form for a new
entry.

I'm getting the above message when entering information into a form.  I've
double checked all fields and do not know why I'm getting it.  Any help?

Hello there,
We are a German based Company in the US.
To make life easier for our German Colleagues, we would like to implement
the German spell check option.

When I open a word Document and I hit the button to attach it to an email,
and then if save and close the email without sending it, it goes directly to
my inbox, as opposed to my drafts.  Does anyone know why this happens or how
to change it?

I can print from all MS OFFICE programs except Access.
When I chose print or print preview nothing happens .
Any suggestions?  I can print from all other programs.

  Th fact that busers can view the database window by pressing on the shift
button is very frustrating for me,because,through my form, i put restrictions
to users so as to get my wotk in the best way,but actually users now can
easily enter to the databse window,view hidden ...

I have a *very* weird problem (Access 97) that first developed
sporadically a couple of days ago while working, and that now
happens all the time.
The symptom is this:

I upgraded my Office 2002 to 2003 and now when  try to access my "Access
Databases" I cannot open it.
