I have a large database where the Date of birth has been set to type integer of the form dd/mm/yy. I need to perform some calculations on the dates but when I try to just change the type to date it seems to come up with a totally different date.

Alright, here's the setup. I have an index list (hereafter referred to as INDEX), which is a table with one column of (unique) numbers, and another column of corresponding labels. I have another table, hereafter referred to as INPUT, with a bunch of numbers.

Hi all. Our Access database runs off a local file server (a Buffalo Terrastation) on our small office LAN. This has never caused any problems until Access installed updates on two of our machines (so far) and no longer allows those machines access to the database.
