We deploy an application that contains an Microsoft Access .mdb file.
Within the .mdb file are some forms that use VB and ADO. This code has in
it's reference list ADO version 2.5.
The recipients of our application have varying models and versions of Window

I switched my access database from Win 98 to a Win XP computer and everything
continues to work except: DATE
In a form that is using the DATE function:
   Dim datDays As Date

I thought I'd post an issue (and resolution) I had with
the SP3 for Access 2002 Runtime packaging in case it will
help anyone else that encounters the same problem.
Issue was:   I downloaded Office XP Service Pack 3 for

I packaged my access 2000 db using developer 2000 on a windows 98 machine.  
When I go to a windows ME computer and run setup program I get a window
"copying files" in which 7 files are copeid.  Then get a window that states
"setup cannot continue because some system files are out ...

I am seeking advice on the best way to back up data contained in my back-end
database. I would like to do it from the front-end database, but I keep
getting errors that I believe are due to back-end access issues.
Any tips on how to develop a clean backup procedure?

When I drill down through Network Neighborhood to link a table, Access still
seems to grab the drive letter mapped to the share.  When other users go to
open the tables, Access errors out because their drive mappings don't match.
Is there a solution that doesn't involve Linked ...
