 Is there anyway to store both a date and the string "N/A" in a table??  I
want to use a date field because of the added benifits of this but there are
some cases that the value is "N/A"...  so I don't know how to handle this...

I am using Access 2007 and have completed my database. Can anyone tell me
how I get rid of the ribbon and side navigation bar that has the tables,

I have read all the threads regarding MDE, and nothing matched my case.
Here is my problem,
I have tested before to make MDE while I am not quite finished in
developping my church membership database. At first I make for my own church,

One of the elements we wanted in our DB is the ability to tell who entered
what data, so we are able to track where persistent problems occur.

I have been reading all about the evils of lookups in tables, however could
someone please explain how you avoid using them - is the answer to have many
tiny tables with potentially only 2 fields (assuming it is necessary to have
a PK in every table) and often only 2 records.
