respected MVPs,
i am creating a form for based on table named "MCQ Test Registration" it has
field named "RegistrationID" this is autonumber  & "EventID" this is Year -A,
-B -C -D like 2008-A, 2008-B, 2008-C, 2008-D, in the form, these 2 fields are

if I click on format drop down the vertical and horizontal alignment is
greyed out.
They are also missing off the toolbar dialogue box

Using Access 2003. I have donor ID numbers in a field set by Autonumber
(incremental). Perhaps this isn't the best way to do it but it worked fine
for 10 years until I made a bad import which I easily corrected except the
autonumber is now using 8 digit numbers instead of the 5 ...

I created a database to log correspondence topics at work. Each entry/issue
is assigned a unique log number. The number is a combination of things.
