I need to create a database that tracks security rights assigned to
users (and groups) for certain projects.  In other words, some
users/groups have the ability to view, modify, or delete documents
located within certain projects... and others don't.

I have read the MS article 290684 on this subject.  When I get to the
Replace permission entries , click apply and click yes, I get a message:

Im building a very simple database for asset register purposes. I dont want
to make any fromt end (forms) to the database, just use the datasheet view.
I would like to add 2 comboboxes that use lookup tables, so that the other

That I am aware of there is no physical limit to the number of records in a
table. In your opionion is there a practical limit past which you would not
want to exceed. The database that I am looking at creating is not
transactional. It will store a large amount of historical data ...

I have converted all of my macros to modules and I want some of them to

I have flat table imported from and excel file.  It has student data, parent
data (actually parent 1 data and parent 2 data), and address data.
Some of the addresses have multiple families.  In those cases the parents of

Question:  Is there a way to define a different default switchboard depending
on which user is logged in?  Our company has multiple departments, and we
want each department to have their own menu available at startup.  Does

My new "context sensitive" help system has a msg box macro for each field in
my data entry form.  The macros reside in a artworks entry macro group.
At the moment if a user "double-click's" on a field a info message box pops
