I am building a database for my kennel/training operation. I have built a form, tables, etc that show what I need. However, when I build a report I want to be able to show ALL the kennels even if there's not a dog in them. (kennel space report) I have the columns

I have a geological database which needs to have 3D validation rules applied to new data entries. Primary key is 'hole ID' for collar and geology tables. I need to constrain geology hole depth entries to be always less than the total hole depth as entered in the collar table.

I have a table similar to [StudentID] PK further down [ATSNo]. When first assigned on a temp bases the [ATSNo] is the same as the [StudenID] field. Is their a way to may the default value of [ATSNo] equal to that of the [StudentID]. Many thanks for taking the time to read this ...

How do I set the non-primary index which uses multiple fields so that I cannot enter duplicate values in the multi-field index? I have tried defining the multiple field index and then clicking YES on Uniqueness, but this does not prevent duplicate entries in the table.

About three weeks ago I had a problem with the Link Table Manager not showing a new table I had added. A kind MVP gave a solution that worked, which was to use the Link utility via the File > Get External Data > Link Tables. Now none of the tables are shown in the Link Table ...

Hi I would like to configure of the fields (the primary key ) to allow two unique formats of entry. These formats are: 1. A number which could range from 3 - 6 characters in length 2. Or a string in this format NUHT1234 (basically NUHT and four numbers)
