I have a split Access 2000 DB with linked tables. I want to create a
standalone copy of this DB on another PC without having to manually link the
tables again because I won't be there installing it on-site. Is there a way
of linking the tables to the front-end by a relative path ...

In a table using access 2000 I can make a column's date format
as  mm/dd/yy.
I am not able to do this in 2002.  I get mm/dd/yyyy
Is there another way for a format date for mm/dd/yy?

John, thanks for the reply.  The column name is "PAT RELATION TO INSD" The
fields are populated with a "   X" or a "        X" or a ""   what I need to
do is replace the first with "Self" the second with "Spouse" and the third
with "Child".  Will an update query work for this? ...

Is there a limit on the number of rows that access will find and replace.  I
am trying to replace a single character in a very large database for a single
column.  Access will only find the first 9494 lines and then stop.  Is this
the limit or is there away to replace all?  ...

I've been asked to design a database for up to 60 concurrent users.  The
awkward side of it is that the company in question use a mixture of Macs
(OSX) and PCs (XP) attached to an OSX Mac network.  There will be around
50,000 records altogether.

I noticed that in a FE/BE scenario, you can set relationships in both the FE
and the BE and they are maintained independently.
Which end is the proper end to create the relationships between tables? If I
set them in the BE, does the FE know about them?

Access ver 2002.  They have a membership table with address info in it.  We
are in Canada so the Postal Code is in the form of K8N 3H2.  All other
fields sort fine.  With Postal Code when it is sorted there ...
