SO I've read a little thing that warns against using the LOOKUP feature when designing tables. Apparently its not good to assign values to a field based on values in another table; better to just join the tables in a query

I would like to use the calendar control to set a start date in the database and then automatically calculate a date 12 weeks after that date, but I would also like that to not include holidays (like Thanksgiving or Christmas.) Does anyone know how to do that?

I am trying to merge data from multiple tables into one large table. All of the tables contain the same field titles. The only information I could find involved linking tables or creating a mail merge. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

What do you think is better functionality and design wise: One large table (avg import 135,000 records a fiscal quarter) OR 15 smaller tables (avg 9,000 records a fiscal quarter) with 15 times as many queries and reports?

Somehow, i've ended up with a design such that the tables are interlinked in a circular fashion ,e.g. A link to B, B to C, C to D and D back to A. Is this advisable? Are there pitfalls in such a design? Thanks. ck
