I am not a regular Access guy so pardon if the problem is
simple for you. I inherited an Access application that has
5 different table names but the structure. That is 1 for
each year. Example would be tbl1998, tbl1999, tbl2000,

I've read a bit about junction tables, but I'm still not
sure I have it right.  Is it necessary for there to be a
third field aside from the PK from the other two tables?

The application I am working on is getting more and more
attention from management. They are asking to add more
data to it. To better manage the database, I'll need to
rename the tables, queries and forms.

I've been filling an access database table with both English and Cyrilic
characters. I was doint it directly into the table, without using a form.
In the table itself the Cyrilics looks OK.
