Ok so I cannot get to convert a 97 database to 2007... I go into access 2007
and import the data from the 97 file and then save it as 2007 and it does not
work. Once I try to open the "converted" file it doesn's even open. I fi try
to open the 07 file in 2007 it doesnt let me and ...

If you go Office button -> Access options -> Current data base. There is a
section with 2 check box associated with the configuration of the tools and
options available to the user. If unchecked, all the menu options are reduced

I wrote this application that runs perfectly (or better: almost
perfectly...)
The problem is, on one computer it runs at a reasonable speed.. the same
application on another (HP) computer runs EXTREEMLY slow, although the
DateTime field showing unwanted Time02 Jul 2008 20:58 GMT3
All of a sudden, my date fields are showing a datetime with the time portion
the same in every table and database I open.
The time portion is 12:17:04 AM regardless of what table or database I open.
If I run a query on a date field and convert it to a double format,
