i would like to avoid the slow essentially single user process of relinking tables in the front end database to the data file on the server. If i could write to the msysobjects table this would save my customers hours of time when they about.

I run a small business that is expanding. One office now only. The app runs on a Windows 2003 server using terminal services. I want to find a way of serving out my database to offices. I'm hoping that people here might know about solutions for small busineses.

Hi. I have Vista Home Basic on my laptop and i tried installing Office 2007 Pro on it, and was confronted by the Error: Error 1606.Could not access network location %PUBLIC%\Desktop.

Access 2003, User can't open reports in design view or preview. However when logged in to computer as administrator they open fine. Other users with same permissions (one other computers) don't seem to have this problem. Not even sure where to start here.

Hi. I have Access 2003 and 2007 on the same machine. Whenever I switch between these two versions, I keep getting that well known Initialization/re-install screen. Is there a solution for this? Now I felt for sure that Microsoft would not let this issue go unaddressed

One of the users of my databases also has another .mdb with custom menus and toolbars. Best I can figure out, when she launched that database it hid the standard menubar, but now it's hidden in MY databases too. I've had her try Rightclick-Customize-Menubar-Reset, no luck. ...
