I have a new machine with Vista and loaded Office 2002 followed by Office 2007 in separate folders but I can no longer run my 2002 access files. When i open them in 2002 i get a series of messages .... object or class does not support the set of events ....

I am running Access 2000. Every once in a while I lose the help files. WHen I try to reinstall this file from the Office CD it never works properly. WHen I try to use the help it want to read it off the CD. I want to read it off the disk.

I copied a database and send it to someone. I thought the active controls would transfer with the database. The user is getting errors and it looks like maybe she needs the active control for dates. Is this correct? Maybe there is a possibility she doesn't have the same .ocx ...

I have installed Access 2003 on a Vista Business laptop. I have been able to create tables and forms. But when I try to run the report wizard or the data access page wizard. I get a message to the affect of "Access can't perform this function".

Whenever I compact an Access2003 database (mdb) file that I have just closed, where that mdb includes mde references, Access2003 fails and restarts. So far the compact action has always been successful.
