I created an Accde file but my Custom Groups don't show
in the Navigation Bar. Is this by design?

I am running an Access 2002  database on a Windows 98 machine loaded with
OfficeXP.  The machine I developed on is running Windows XP version 2002.  I
have been using the DB on both machines for some time.  Today I ran a windows
update to patch the 98 machine as well as a defrag, ...

Our office uses Access 2000 as a front end to a SQL
server 2000 database.
Each client has it's own copy of the access .mdb file on
their computer.

I would like to deploy a version of MS Access that users cannot utilise as

First, I do know better but I'm doing it anyway.
Second, without adding any technology (MS SQL, TS, ...) is there anything I
can do to optimize MS Access for use over the WAN?  If I can tweak one,

I recently got a new PC and re-installed Access 2002.  While developing and
testing I prefer to see all of my open windows on the taskbar.  However, even
though I have checked the "Windows in Taskbar" box under Tools -> Options ->
View, it's still grouping all open windows into ...

I created a form with a subform in it (form and subform have

I have a database created to be small but it grew and I used the Database
Splitter and Linked Table Manager.  It works perfectly in the PC it is
install but, other PC's have a shurtcut to this database.  They can open and
use the db but in some forms there are combo boxes looking ...

I have a full Office Pro version 2.0 from 1994 and an upgrade version of
Access 2002, both on CD.  WHen the 2002 version asks for verification of
earlier version, it can't find it even though Access from Office Pro version
2 is installed on the hard drive.
