IT now wants to know if the db can run on the runtime version of Access in
order to save some licenses. I have A2003 and the A2003 dev. extensions.

We have been running a backend Database using Access 97, Ihave been trying
for sometime to get it upgraded to Access 2k. everytime I get it upgraded
using the upgrade utility in Access 2k the DB will run for a day or two ok

After instralling Office 12 Pro Access 12 will not start. It tells me that

I seem to remember that there is some sort of configuration that needs to be
done within Access to allow it to recognize Outlook as a legitimate
application with which to interface.  But I can't remember what or where.  
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Is there a 'canned' Access program that is already available to purchase that
will track productivity, budgets, and errors?  We would prefer something that
