Is it possible to not install the conversion tool?28 Jan 2005 22:41 GMT1
We would like to move forward to Access 2002, but there are concerns from our
IT department that any other database that we would come in contact with
would be converted or damaged.
My questions are:
startup config28 Jan 2005 21:59 GMT1
I have setup the startup of a database to restrict the user from all
options...tool bar etc.
However I have to go in there now and modify a form and query, but cannot
even unhide the DB window.  How do I get around this?
TableDef in Access200328 Jan 2005 15:45 GMT2
I'm trying to figure out how to enumerate the fields in a table in a
current database from vba. The documentation seems to suggest it's possible
but only details how not to do it.

2003 on the same machine, will Access 97 get hosed?
Not sure if this should be a post here or in the .net newsgroup, but I
thought I'd try here.
Compacting a database programmatically?27 Jan 2005 16:39 GMT5
Is it possible to compact a database via a programmatic command? (If so,
what's the syntax please?) I ask this because I have a 750 Mb database which,
during processing, grows past the Access limit of 2 Gb. This destroyed the
coding I did on Friday. So if possible, I'd like to ...

VBA Project is Corrupt25 Jan 2005 20:49 GMT9
I have a problem: I was running a VBA access module on a very large database

all but about 17,000 records. Since I'd previously debugged the code, I know
it works. (However, this IS a new project under ...

I'm building a new box for a user and they have Access tables resident on

Using Access with concurrent users24 Jan 2005 20:07 GMT2
I know this is a common topic, but I have some questions relating to Access
in a concurrent user environment that I haven't seen before.  As mentioned

users are accessing the database at the same time.  ...
