I have a question about converting a database that was created in Access 2000. He opened it in 2003 and the "left" function is not working properly. If he writes the 'left' function in a new 2003 db it works fine.

In trying to install Access 2002, I get an error code 1608. They say that the product key number is wrong and yet this is the number of the cd package straight from the store.
