I have an Access Database that is set up as a split
database ( back end tables on network and front end on
each users machine). Recently we had a record corrupt (
#Error on memo field and other fields has jibberish). I

I have a question about converting a database that was
created in Access 2000.  He opened it in 2003 and
the "left" function is not working properly.  If he
writes the 'left' function in a new 2003 db it works fine.

In trying to install Access 2002, I get an error code
1608. They say that the product key number is wrong and

I'm having a big problem with my database this morning.  
The backend of the application does not create an ldb file
anymore.  So now only one person can access the tables at

When trying to open a certain Access Database (Office 97)
it opens but only takes up 2/3rds of the screen, it
doesn't open up fully, and it is definitely maximised.  It
is the only database that does this, all others are fine

I'm trying to run a program which uses the Access 97
runtime, and I'm on Windows XP on an NT Domain.
I get the following error:
"Can't be started. was unable to initialize the Windows

When I try this I get a compile error saying "User-

When UPGRADING, say from W98, to Windows XP an existing
MS Access runtime application then fails having previously
run perfectly well on the previous Windows platform?
The application also runs perfectly well on FULL XP
