database developed using MS ACCESS 2003
Resides on server for multiple users.  I need reference for establishing
user level security.  If I use wizard on one PC, will it be in effect for all
PCs connected to server?

I need to be able to share a database with colleagues on a shared server.
I have copied the Database file to the server and set up shortcuts on their
desktops to this Database. It will only give them "read only" access to it. I
need them to be able to enter data.

I need your suggestion in the following problem:
We have some non-secured access 97 MDB files. It is circulated over remote
locations so we can not replace it going physically everywhere. So solutions
is to create a small utility to secure all non secured files. We are using

How can I link/import the data from the "unsecured" database?
I create a new blank database, I secured them,  and I try to link the table,
but I can't
because that have another workgroup (default system.mdw).

I have created a basic db with one form and two queries, and need to allow

I am trying to build a form that will allow those in supervisory positions to
be able to assign other users to different levels of access according to
group policy.  I can get the Groups.Users.Append to work fine, but when I use
Groups.Users.Delete I get a 'Type Mismatch' error ...

I had a split db.  Then I ran the security wizard on the front-end.  That
worked fine.  Now however, I am lost at securing the back-end.  I tried
aimply adding a password, then the linked tables don't work.  I tried
