We have a database that tracks instructors, courses, class schedules and
attendance. It started out as one .mdb and then I split it into a front and
back end. The back end resides on the Network server while the team members
[5] access the front end via their local “C” drive. ...

I just upgraded to 2007 from 2003.  I am attempting to use the package wizard
to create an install cd for my database.  First off, the database was split
before the upgrade, and I did convert the FRONT END to an accdb, but the BACK
END is still listed as an mdb.  Everything went ...
Moving Secure Database28 Mar 2008 02:54 GMT2
I created a secure database backend while working on my home computer.  Took
a while and several attempts to get it right.  Now how do I move it to the
server where it must reside?  Unsecure databases are easy as pie to move.
You copy the file and paste it to the server.

How the heck do you join a workgroup in 2007?  I just upgraded and it tells
me that I don't have permission to access my own security.mdw file.  I am the
creator/owner of all associated files with our database as it is still under

add trusted location - all Users?25 Mar 2008 18:30 GMT2
Is there any way to add a trusted location for ALL users on a PC?
We have a network DB that is used by all staff - PC's are shared by shift

It would be hard to catch them all - and time consuming to reset passowrds
Create Table Permission24 Mar 2008 13:35 GMT1
I have to create a table before running a report. The table cannot be

with multi level group by's not allowed and the last query needs to be a
cross tab.
MDE format21 Mar 2008 23:56 GMT5
I have questions on MDE format

2. If MDE has been created, is there still any way for people to crack the
password?

to the network.  In testing my original database was denied permissions, but
also denied permissions for my backup (.bak) ...

I've got a database that's usually used by two people simultaneously.
I'd like to be able to implement a means by which I can track which
