Whats with all the other stuff that comes with the database when you do the
security wizard like the BAK file that i cant even open, and the security
thing it looks like an empty access database and if i delete any of them it

I have successfully secured a number of databases - practised on many in
order to gain a good understanding of security and then enforced security on
my database.
I followed Joan Wild's instructions and successfully secured the db - when I

I wanted to keep a record on which user creates the orders out of the cellar.
I have a simple order table.
Should I include a field username in this table? I'm completelly lost!

I am trying to open a database designed in Access 97 and am getting the
message "The Current user account doesn't have permission to convert or
enable this database". I have tried the resolutions suggested at
