Please, give advice! It is necessary to have domain account with the read-only rights to reading of any configuration information in the domain (application/system/security logs, access permissions, adjustment of services etc).

Hi, My Access 2003 sp1 database currently has no need for a password and resides on a non networked PC. I am adding a table for some confidential data and would like to have that table password protected. Can I do this within that dbase ?

upgrading computers to a clean Office 2007 install. usually I set HKLM.../access/jet/engines to our local server "system.mdw". Whilst this is possible to change the registry key whilst the users logged in (HK Current User)..... this doesn't help me much.

When I run an MDE in acess 2007 runtime, I get the action messages I.E. "1 record will be updated". DO I use: DoCmd.SetWarnings False to turn off these messages?

Is there a way to give Users the ability to add new records to the database, but at the same time prevent them from taking any copies of the tables from it, by importing into other databases??? Thanks in advance.
