Why, for God sake, does Microsoft eliminate the user level security in an
Access Database 2007.
How can I recommend this new version to my clients, who uses and needs this
kind of security?

I have been reading the info presented for starting workgroup security. A
couple of questions, please.
If I wanted to "protect" all the db objects and just present the form for
users, should I secure and/or split the db?

I have created a database (Access 2003).  I am putting this on a network's
shared drive but would like to prevent others from modifying the design.  Is
there a way to do this without being too complicated with permissions?

and as far as I can understand it, you need to use ADO for this feature. I

I am currently setting up a intranet that will not be available from outside

In Access 2003, whenever I use the User-Level Security Wizard on a database,
and I re-open it, it locks me out completely and doesn't ask me for a
password.  What am I doing wrong, or is there something within the Wizard
which doesn't work?
