I created a database that I have secured and then split to a FE & BE.  I did
this so I could roll out versions of our database while staff continue to

If I create an Access database on one PC, and then secure it by using the
Security Wizard on a second PC, I find that it is secured on the second PC,
but completely unsecured when I open it on the first.
Can anyone explain this behaviour?

I'm setting up a vehicle booking database, where users will be able to book
certain vehicles for trips, etc. Is there a way I can limit what records each
user can see/edit? For example, I want to restrict what records the user sees
in the Vehicle Bookings form.

We use Tack sceduler in MS 2000.  Some of our jobs are Access databases.  
Unfortunatly, the security warnings generated by Access when it starts up
cause the jobs to hang up, demanding user intervention.

Hello,
Using a form to change details in records, I have set a MsgBox action
on the Before Update property of the more important fields in the
form, ie surname postcode etc

I have windows updates set to update automatically.  When I came in today
there were a ton of new updates installed.  Since the update I have not been
able to open my BE Database.  The FE opens fine, but the BE doesnt open at
all.  Does anyone else have this problem?

If you secure  an MSACCESS Database using a Workgroup Information File
WIF and then setting up  permissions removing the Admin user from the
its default group, repalce it with another named user, transfer all

I'm still trying to tie down some loose ends with security.  I ran across
