I used User-level Security wizard. It maked a caos and I decided to remove it. I deleted system.mdw files on my pc and finally uninstalled MS-Access. Reinstalled MS-Access and I still can't get access to design mode on forms.

I would like to put the backend of an Access 2000 in a folder on the server. This folder is not open for general use. But I need to put one of the forms from the database out for public viewing data entry. What functions within Access could I use. Any help is appreciated.

I need to know if there's a way to block other MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc) from being able to extract data from Access tables. Does anyone out there know of a way to do that? Failing that, what about encryption options?

The security wizard in Access 2007 beta (Database Tools -> Administrator -> User Level Security Wizard) only permits the creation of a new workgroup information file (.mdw). It does not seem to permit the joining of an existing workgroup via an existing workgroup information file ...

Access 2000, used Security Wizard to protect for new data enterer. Now cannot get to design view to make simple changes of dates, etc. Help doesn't help. I've tried all I can find. I really need to eliminate the Security I imposed over a year ago.
