I have been using simple tables to store user ID's & passwords and want to
move toward inherent Access DB security to prevent some clever user from
reading/manipulating the user/group tables manually. However, I now have the
disadvantage of having developed security-related needs ...

When I try to open my database, I get a Microsoft Access Error that says
"Microsoft Access can not find the security.mdw This file is needed for
startup.  Any Suggestions?

I am trying to link tables programatically from a password protected database.
Assuming the password is "fred" the connect fails with an "Invalid Password
Message" when I use any of the following:
tdf.Connect = ";DATABASE=" & strFileName

Is it possible, for the purposes of one function that requires administrative
permissions, to reset the current user to Admin, execute the function, and
then require the user to log in again?

I am attempting to set up security using Joan Wild's procedure.  I have run
into a snag from the get-go.
When I Start/Run and type in wrkgadm.exe I get a message saying "Windows
cannot find ........"

Is it possible to retrict users to only view/edit a specific subset of
records within a database.  Example: Saleman Bob can only see orders
associated with his customers - he cannot see Saleman Terry's orders and
Terry cannot see his.
