The back end file is on a Public share on our server. I have confirmed the
client machine has permissions.
I was able to join the workgroup for the client machine (the workgroup mdw

If one use is openning the access file, the other user are not be able to
open the same file on the network, they get message similar like "The file is
openned by admin,.....". How can I set the security to everyone can open it

I created a new workgroup called Reg, but when I join it. It tells me that I
don't have the permissions to see the database. But when I go to permission,
its greyed out and I can't do anything.

Data fields of one record were suddenly replaced by chinese looking symbols.
