I was playing around with permissions and managed to get no user /
group left with administer right for forms. How to resolve this? admin
is still owner but has no rights left.
My idea was to remove almost all rights from admin and remove it from

I read one article about how to secure database windows etc and just to show
the Form only. The step I did is : Click the ToolStart Up Menu and then
(a)    Uncheck Display Database Windows
(b)    Put the Display For,/Page eg Main Menu

I have a database which I want to have TWO users. An Admin (who can view ALL
of the forms tables etc.) and a USER who can only see the forms that I
specify.

We migrated a bunch of data to a new file server using Robocopy. Security was
copied as well. One Access DB can be opened in A2000 and A2003 but not read.
Error is "Could not read definitions; no read definitions permission for

I am trying to receive tech support on a software that only does real time
tech support via ICQ and/or MS IM.  My workstation has access to server
admin, although I have to specifically login.  Our server has SonicWall
firewall.  My desktopp does not have server admin access ...

I have setup desktop shortcut to point to security file on the server where
the user has to login in to db.
If the user exits the app with or without closing access, they can access
the db again using the desktop copy without logging in.

At this point, I have set no security on the database developed, only because
I'm the only user at this point.
