I develop the ACCESS and use anothername.mdw (as suggested) to save my all security settings in local computer. How come this security will effect all my mdbs? Can different mdbs use different MDW???

When I open an existing DB or create a new one, I cannot open tables or queries. I can't open them in design mode either. I just get an alert dialog that says, "unknown" for newly created test DB's. When I go to the Security / User and Group Permissions menu then I get an

We have two files that are MDB's. One of them is an actual Access file, the other is a file that although it is also and MDB extension, it is a file that is used by another program called ArcView 9.1 (a mapping program, aka as a GIS program).

Is it possible to turn on/switch off the login menu in Access? I intend to let citizens (trough a PC in the public library) read an Access database containing pictures (and data) of paintings, and to make the application more user-friendly

I have a database that I am trying to do an update. I want Me.Diff = Me.CurrentCount - Me.Standard. I only want to update this once, so on_current wont work. Is there a way to make a button work for all records on the form?

If I log on as administrator the database opens fine. I can access all of the forms from the switchboard. If I log on as the user, there is an error. "This command could not be executed" and is not able to access any of the forms from the switchboard. Any Ideas?
