I don't like to create 350 individual accounts for the MIS Call tracking db I created because of maintenance. I was wondering if I can use windows username/pwd for authentication instead of the workgroup security. Is this possible? TIA.

I have set up a workgroup file called Reports.mdw When I join my database to this file using Access Security the permissions assigned to users and groups work OK. However I wish to access this file via a short cut using the /wrkgrp switch.

apologies in advance if this appears elsewhere: I have a secure Access97 database, however, I need to be able to bypass the SHIFT KEY action in order to prevent users from viewing the main tables. Is there a SIMPLE way of doing this, or does it involve writing lots of code.
