I think I messed up.  I had to wipe my harddrive and reinstall everything.  
Before i wiped the drive I made a copy of my documents, where all of my
access datavases are stored and put them on a DVD.  i install Office and
started pulling the databasses off of the dvd one at a time ...

Here's the deal: a user wants to secure her MDB. So I went to TOOLS /
SECURITY / WORKGROUP ADMINISTRATOR and created a new MDW file. Then I went
back into security and setup all the permissions and users. No problem,
everything worked exactly as I tohought it would.
