Does anyone know of a way to clear a user's password in VB if the user's old password is unavailable? In other words, using VB code to do the same thing as going to Tools/Security/User and Group Accounts... and clicking the Clear Password button.

Iwould like to prevent users from seeing some information in a table or create a table that they cannot open. I unchecked all the boxes for user permissions for a table but that user can still open and view the information.

I have Access 2002 asking for a Password and Username but the database it is opening is not passworded nor does it have any security on it. I tried to open another database that is also not passworded and I get the same box popping up requesting password and username.

I am working a work book named Step by Step for Access at home. I want to turn off the request for a password. Everytime I open Access it has a logon and a Passord request. As a result everything I save at home and use at the office will not let me in.
