Hallo
I hope some one can help me i have the following problem.
i am using normal access security and i have a user which only has insert
access to the table so no update access. What i am trying to do is i have a

Can someone tell me how to declare database password in a DAO statement. I
have not setup user-password security, while DAO asks for userid & passowrd.

I have a database that I want certain users be able to access a specific
form, but have limited options within the form like only being able to enter
in records and nothing else.  Is there an easy way to do this?  I've gone
over the Tools, Security options and can not figure it ...

Would it be possible to keep the database window hidden with code, when
opening a database, and make an .mde file so user of an unsecured database
cannot work with tables or queries?

I put some security settings on my database and now when I open it it tells
me i havent got permission to open it! Can I remove the database or restore
the unsecured .bak version of the database?

I have setup users and permissions but I can't see how they are implamented.
Whenever I open the database it just opens in Admin mode. How do I get it to
open in one of the restricted user modes?

I have crerated a form in Access that requires 2 levels of signature, the
individual that created it and that persons boss.   Can I make the filed on

I've secured a database with a security file called security.mdw that resides
on a network folder with the secured database.
Users can open that secured database or another unsecured database.  When
they open the secured one using the full version of Access 2003 they can just

I have a database that is on a shared drive.  Everyone can get to it and open
it, but if you try to open it on one computer it asks for a password.  The

I created an Access DB and secured it with Admin and user accounts on my
secondary D:/ drive. Then I cut and pasted it to My Documents. Now I get the
following error when I try to access:
"you don't have the necassary permissions to use the D:\Data.mdb object.
