I think its time we ask congress to outlaw spy and malware as virus. I
think it is worse then virus. Please contact your local representative
and ask for action.

I am new to this group, so forgive me if that was answered here previously.
Situation as follows:
We have Database with back end on SQL server and Front end as Access MDB
with workgroup security setup to restrict editing the forms etc

I set up users in the Security and gave them permissions. My database is in
a shared file on a server. But when I go to the database in the shared file
on another person's computer no login appears

Please don't think I'm in the dark here... even though I may be, but I've
seen multiple posts that the admin group should have no permission once
usl is set up.  I'm just wondering why.  Shouldn't you have users log in
under their user password when they are just doing regular ...

encrypted fromat? If unauthorized users attempts to bypass the DBMS and get
